The Black Prince is unwrapped, and is now sitting on my dining room table looking superb. Very many thanks for the work done, it is beautiful. Looking forward to getting in touch again.

The coach arrived safely this morning … I am very pleased with the result, it looks superb & shows up my other GW coaches. Hopefully I will get another coach repainted next year. Please thank Simon for his expert workmanship.
JM, Loxley, Warwick

Many thanks …to Simon …for such a wonderful job that he has performed on my Terrier. Ruth could not believe the detail and paint finish that Simon has created. I have been endlessly looking at it all evening and wondering how on earth does he do that? A beautiful job and the work of a true craftsman. My friends thought that it is a wonderful model as well
RB, Crowborough, East Sussex

Absolutely delighted with the Princess …Simon is a model train restoration genius! The only problem is that its too precious to run in case it gets damaged!
Dr DJKW, Sheffield

'STUNNING'. . . Please thank Simon for my 'Masterpiece . . .on time as well!
GL, Beckenham, Kent

Sincere thanks to Simon for the superb restoration and to you for the friendly, helpful and efficient "admin" throughout. It has been a pleasure dealing with you ! I will be in touch regarding further requests for restoration.
JS, Wallasey

I spent quite a while yesterday evening admiring the finished work. The high standard overall, together with the very neat attention to detail make the whole thing quite exceptional. All good wishes,
Dr SB, Belper, Derbyshire

The mogul is immaculate, and looks even better in the flesh......... many thanks and congratulations to Simon. The engine looks brand new, which is extraordinary for a 75+ year old engine that has been well used by two generations. The dilemma for me now is whether to steam it or leave it in its current impeccable order. Once again, many thanks, I am highly delighted and appreciative of the skill that has transformed the sorry little locomotive I sent you, into something rather special. Best wishes to you both

What can I say " Fantastic" lovely job, (GWR Manor Class) it is very nice indeed … thank you so much, it has given me a much needed boost.

The Hornby M1 arrived safely this morning. She looks so pristine I shall hardly dare to run her.  So I now resolve that she will only be used on special occasions, and that I will need to find some better quality American Pullmans to complement her! Thank you both for all the detailed trouble you have taken over this.
KM, Bristol

The M&GN model arrived today in perfect condition. The model is as ever beyond improvement. Very many thanks
DW, Polegate, East Sussex

Just to let you know the train
(Bassett Lowke Compound) has safely arrived. It looks great - so I am all set! Again, thank-you both for wonderful restoration
JP, Harpenden, Herts.

The loco look great. I am not sure my soldering skills are as good as Simons painting skills but as a beginner I am quite proud of my modest achievement, however, Simons painting skills have certainly given 1153 the best start in life. Thank you for the aftercare advice. The curse of the bubble wrap has caught out many.
DD, Essex

Perfection is almost impossible to achieve but the 'Wee Ben' shows it is possible!
RH, Hexham

I always knew the result would be superb - but this goes way beyond. Gipsyhill is truly stunning - absolutely exquisite and the extra touches Simon has added have helped to make her a work of real historical authenticity. And the best bit is - I'll own it!
PC, Reading

Thank you very much for these photographies, the STOWE is "magnifique ". Simon is a real artist, thanks I am very very happy, sincerely.
HD, Beaussault, France

Stunningly beautiful! A great accomplishment. Well done Simon!!
I would call it a great job, but job doesn't seem to fit as I'm sure it wasn't a "job" but more of a pleasure. I am thrilled to have found the right person to complete it.

Mallard arrived safe and sound and is now sitting just above Flying Scotsman in my office . Thank Simon for me , he's done a marvelous job. I can't enthuse Karen, my PA, but all the other boys are coming to have a look soon.
JH, Little Wymondley, Hertfordshire

I must say, you are the most businesslike operation I have met in many years dealing with model railway concerns on both sides of the Atlantic.

Well what can I say. I knew to expect something superb, the result looks exceptional and Simon is to be congratulated for another outstanding piece of work. The LNWR Tank is running well and looks fine with it's coaches. So when joined with it's CR stable mate, the pair will surely be head turners when on their first public outing in May. Many thanks to you both.
DWW, Dunblane, Perthshire

Thank you for your comprehensive letter and quote for the restoration of my Hornby Princess Elizabeth. I am very impressed with the photos and the attention to detail. I am keen to go ahead on the basis you describe .
CM, Haxby, York

AH, Edinburgh

Thank you for your excellent renovation of the Hippchen - Carette Rail motor. I am absolutely delighted with it - it's a real work of art. Many thanks indeed.
DMJ, Kinver, Staffordshire

Simon has carried out a number of projects for me over the last few years, ranging from sympathetic refurbishment of coaching stock to full restorations and repainting of locomotives.  The quality of Simon's work is always first class and in particular his lining is excellent.

Simon has a passion for his work and clearly explains the work required to be carried out and how problems have been solved.  With Joanne's help his administration is very good and communication of costs and timescales is always clear.

I have no hesitation in recommending Simon to anybody requiring repair, restoration or repainting of their models
GH, Stafford

Thank Simon for doing such a excellent job on the (Marklin) Merchant Taylor it really looks good pulling a rake of  Hornby Pullman coaches.

I am delighted that these two examples of American “heavy iron” (or, rather, brass) will be enjoying a new lease of life. Thank you for sending the “before” and “after” photos. Rather like the 18th Century landscape gardener Humphrey Repton!
ND, Barnes, London

Thank you for the completed locomotive, absolutely superb and a delight to see again in action.
RMS, Stourbridge

It goes without saying that the model is absolutely magnificent. It maintains all the incredibly high standards of your previous models. Thank you for your 100% attention to the work.

This is to confirm safe receipt of your letter and special delivery parcel. I have read your notes and must say that the work Simon has done is not just to my liking, I am absolutely delighted. I doubt Simon would ever require one, since his work speaks for itself, but should he ever require a reference, then please do not hesitate to quote my name.
DKS, Wakefield
